What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What exactly is a channel for marketing? And what are the reasons why an online marketing professional need one?

It is a marketing strategy that is used to convince potential customers to purchase items from your site. It is a selling process by which a person visits your website seeking information that could help to solve a particular issue. But, with the help of specific tools, you can learn how to build a relationship with each visitor.

This will help you better understand each visitor's needs. This will allow you to give the most accurate information to all visitors. If you can gain trust from a visitor, they are more likely to purchase your products. The visitor becomes a customer.

At some point the majority of customers become extremely loyal customers who are ready to purchase just about every item that you promote on your site. A marketing funnel includes all of the steps required to bring a frequent user of your site to become a loyal customer and purchase every item you offer.

This is the ultimate objective for any online marketer. A well-designed funnel will accomplish this easily.

Your marketing materials are now attracting people's attention and guiding them to your funnel. When they complete your PERSONAL form, they are automatically entered into the funnel. Since they're not likely to opt into your business lead-capture page I'm using the term "personal". They want to join as a leader, not a company.

The page for lead capture acts as the entry point into the funnel. By clicking the "Sign Up now" and "Enter Here" buttons will open a new realm of marketing via network.

It's their decision. It's their choice. They don't have to buy your services as a mentor or leader. You could also demonstrate to them ways to increase leads and bring more cash into their businesses.

This is how the typical marketing channel functions.

At the "front-end" you have a free offer to attract and qualify people who may have an interest to purchase your products further down the sales funnel. To get access to the product for free, users have to sign-up (also called opt-in) and provide their email address and their name, and in turn they will be added to your email list.

Once you have your contacts in your email, you are able to make them aware of offers that are similar to theirs.

When they sign to the offer, they'll be taken to a page that offers a low price or what is known as the tripwire offer. This is where they move into the "back-end of the funnel."

If they buy the low price offer, they will be taken to a different offer with a higher cost (normally known as an upsell). Anyone who purchases the lower priced offer will be directed to the next similar product at a more expensive price. The list could go on and on...
